Since 1969, we have been manufacturing a wide range of premium-grade Acid and Alkali Proof materials, including Bricks, Tiles, Resin Base Mortar, and its allied materials, which are as follows :
We undertake Turnkey Jobs with our Specialized & Skilled Workers for following Jobs amonst all Industrial & Chemical Factories through out every corner of India & rest of the Works as well…

following Industrial Structures in all types of Manufacturing Factories must require “Acid & Alkali Proof Lining – Flooring – Coating” Systems…

Following are some of the essential reasons that compel our valued clients all over the world to choose us :

Our extensive range of Alkali and Acid Resisting Products are used in dairy products and beverages plant, thermal power stations, food-pharmaceuticals industries, petro-chemicals industries, galvanizing plant, drainage, battery room sites, storage vessels, etc.
Acid proof tiles and acid resistant tiles form a chemical resistant barrier over concrete and steel in plants that handle acids, alkalis and effluent. They are used for acid proof flooring and acid proof lining in chemical process floors, acid storage tank yards with dyke walls, battery rooms, DM plants, neutralising pits, reaction vessels, pickling and anodising tanks, ETP and ZLD tanks and plant drains. The tile resists the chemical attack and the acid and alkali resisting bedding and joint filling mortar seals the system so that nothing reaches the substrate.
We manufacture acid proof tiles in almost all standard sizes and thicknesses, with 10 mm, 12 mm, 15 mm, 20 mm, 25 mm and 30 mm used for acid proof flooring work. Acid proof bricks and acid resistant bricks are supplied in 38 mm and 76 mm thickness for acid proof brick lining work. All sizes are produced at our Ahmedabad factory under the registered trade mark Acid Proof, in production since 1969.
Acid proof cement and acid proof mortar describe the same resin based bedding and joint filling systems. Furane resin base mortar and phenolic give 350 kg/cm2 compressive strength up to 170 C, cashew CNSL resin base mortar works up to 190 C, K silicate resin base mortar handles up to 900 C, epoxy and polyester reach 500 kg/cm2 but are limited to 90 C, and sulphur is a hot melt system for fast turnaround. Selection depends on the chemical, the operating temperature and the shutdown time available. Full comparative data is given on our Technical Details page.
Up to 900 C when acid proof bricks are laid with K silicate mortar. Resin systems are lower, at 170 C for furane and phenolic, 190 C for CNSL and 90 C for epoxy, polyester and sulphur. In most installations it is the mortar and not the tile or brick that sets the temperature limit of the acid proof lining.
Both. We are acid proof tiles and bricks manufacturers as well as acid proof lining contractors, and we undertake turnkey work with our own trained applicators across India and overseas. Our scope covers acid proof tile flooring from 10 mm to 30 mm, acid proof brick lining in 38 mm and 75 mm, bitumen mastic flooring, epoxy screeding and coating, red Mandana stone flooring, rubber, FRP and PP or PVC lining, carbon and graphite tile lining, refractory lining and stoneware pipe jointing. See our Services page for the full scope.
Chemicals, pharmaceuticals and bulk drugs, dyes and intermediates, fertilizers, petrochemicals and refineries, power plants, steel and galvanising units, zinc smelters, electroplating and anodising plants, textile process and dyeing houses, dairy, food and beverage plants, breweries, starch plants, auto components, aircraft component plants and electronics.
Typical structures are reaction vessels, RCC pickling and phosphating tanks, process floors, acid collection pits, drainage systems, acid storage yards, scrubber floor areas, RCC chimneys and common effluent treatment plants.
Yes. Our tiles and bricks are manufactured as acid and alkali proof materials, and the mortar decides the resistance of the finished system. Furane and epoxy systems are used where both acid and alkali service is expected, while K silicate is chosen mainly for strong acid duty and high temperature. Tell us the chemicals, the concentration and the temperature involved and we will recommend the correct combination of alkali resistant tiles and mortar.
Acid proof tiles and bricks are made from a chemical resistant body with water absorption of about 2 percent maximum and compressive strength of around 700 kg/cm2, and they are produced in industrial thicknesses from 10 mm up to 76 mm. Ordinary ceramic or vitrified flooring tiles are thin and are laid in ordinary cement that is attacked by acid, so they fail quickly in a chemical plant. In an acid proof floor the resin mortar joint is as important as the tile itself.
The rate depends on the tile or brick thickness, the mortar system selected, the total quantity and whether you need supply only or turnkey application at site. Send us your drawing, the chemicals handled, the concentration and the operating temperature and we will quote a complete acid proof flooring or lining system.
